Dr. Nikolaos Karanikolas is an Associate Professor in the School of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interest focuses mainly on issues Cartography & Geography, GIS, Databases and Real Estate. He has published 9 books (or chapters in books, etc.), 135 papers in international and national journals and conferences, has participated in 23 research projects funded by EU and national sources, 4 as supervisor of the project and has attended more than 100 national and international conferences.
