In the article there is a short review reflecting the work of the tourist club «Extreme» (2002−2012). And it is one of the extra- curricular activities at Kostroma Polytechnic College. Every year professional skills in such subjects as Basic Geodesy, Fundamentals of Self-guard and Vitality are practised at the sports and geodesic rally were some sporting, research, educationalе, trade - training and local history events, which are of great interest for young people, take place. Much attention is paid to the development of patriotism and love for the native land too.
