Abstract:

Development of information competence becomes an important priority in modern conditions. At almost universal application of standard GIS-programs even more often on maps mistakes began to occur. Separate results of the executed researches of functionality of two widespread GIS-programs are presented in the article – MapInfo and ArcGIS, for graphic transfer of attributive characteristics on maps.
