Abstract:
The article presents an estimation of the digital photogrammetric terrain models accuracy by examples of three testing areas with various relief characteristics. Digital photogrammetric terrain models are compared with etalon SRTM and digital terrain models extracted from digitized topographic maps. Authors make an attempt to estimate an influence of topographic maps relief generalization upon a decrease of an accuracy of marking off absolute heights on them.
