Abstract:
The methods and results of geoinformational mapping of landscapes Southern Cisbaikalia region presented using remote sensing data (Landsat data). Shows how to conduct research. The raster landscape map of Southern Cisbaikalia region was created based on Landsat 8 OLI data using GIS MultiSpec software and method of supervised classification with training (method of spectral-spatial classification ECHO (Extraction and Classification of Homogeneous Objects)). The natural landscapes and their anthropogenic modifications, as well as other territorial objects are shown on the map. Automatic processing of Landsat data to determine the landscape structure of the territory and to calculate the area of natural and anthropogenically disturbed landscapes and other territorial objects. This makes it possible to monitor changes in the environment by using time series Landsat data.
