Abstract:
When positioning using the PPP method, one of the key errors affecting the accuracy of determining the topocentric vector of the satellite, and therefore the positioning accuracy, was and remains the influence of the Earth’s neutral atmosphere. The article presents the theoretical foundations about the structure of the atmosphere and its effect on the delay of the radio signal. The question of what causes dry and wet tropospheric delays is considered, and IGS is used to calculate the zenith tropospheric delay.
