In this article a new way of presenting the terrain with sound that is designed for interactive maps with audio support for disabled people is described. The method is based on a comparison between the topography and parameters of sound waves. The result of using this method is the software package «Elevation music», consisting of interactive maps, designed for blind and visually impaired people.
