We consider the linear distortion of geospatial data in state and local coordinate systems. Results of the analysis of local coordinate systems to assess the accuracy of lines and squares in the SF-95, MSC-52 and local coordinate systems of 15 cities of Nizhny Novgorod region. It is concluded that the most accurate are the local coordinate system of cities.
