Abstract:
The paper discusses the development of a system of spatial analysis system of heterogeneous data in a GIS for mapping current state of forest vegetation and its regeneration dynamics. A map of regeneration dynamics of forest vegetation of an area located in the southern part of Yenisei Siberia (Krasnoyarsk region) was made using the developed system, Landsat TM imagery, SRTM-3-DEM digital elevation model, forest inventory and ground data.
