Abstract:
The article deals with the theory of slope erosion, developed on the basis of the phenomenological law, according to which the intensity vector of soil erosion from the slope is proportional to the absolute value of its height gradient vector and inverse in direction. Since the erosion model includes a phenomenological coefficient of proportionality between the intensity of soil weathering and the elevation gradient, it is necessary to provide a way to find such a coefficient experimentally. Comparison of changes in elevation data obtained during field monitoring with the results of theoretical calculations enables identifying it
