The geodetic measurements’ results in the territory of Southern Pre-Ural Region are analyzed. Basing on them it was defined and discovered that the Earth crust undergoes multi-speed tectonic vertical movements in different directions. In the regions of carbohydrates mining very active movements of earth strata take place. Their speed can reach 5–8 cm per year. It was discovered that in the regions of Ural Mountains the movements of earth surface with the speed of more than 2 cm per year take place as well. It is known that epeirogenetic movements seldom exceed 2–5 mm per year. Our opinion is that the increase of vertical movements speed is caused by human activities. Deep study of current tectonic movements and restoring the destroyed high-precision leveling networks are necessary today.
