Graduated from Moscow State University, Faculty of Soil Science (1982), post-graduate studies (1985).
1986-1987 Research Assistant in the Institution of ”Soyuzgiprovodkhoz” named after Ye.Ye. Alekseyevsky;
1987-1992 Head Researcher in the Central Institute of Agriculture Agrochemical Support; 1992-2013 – the Head Specialist and Adviser in Moscow Land Committee (Land Resource Department of Moscow); since 1994 Lecturer in FSBEI “Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK); since 2010 heads the Chair of Cadastre and Land Rights.
Works in the field of Earth Science, Land Management and Environmental Problems of the Urban Land Use.
The field of research includes the Soils Current State Data Analyzing, Designing Land Registering-and-Monitoring Systems and Problems of Territories Development.
Has 220 research papers and 20 student aids published.
Holds courses of lectures and conducts classes in bachelor-, master- and post-graduate subjects: “Real Estate Cadastre”, “Monitoring and Protecting Urban Environment”, “Current Matters of Land Management and Cadastre”, “Scientific Base, Purpose, Functions, Contents and Arrangement of Land Monitoring”.

Holder of F.N. Krassovsy Prize (2005), National Environmental Prize (2007) and “Crystal Compass” prize in the field of National Geography and Environment Protection of Russia (2013).
