Journal "Geodesy and Cartography" has been published since August 1925 and is the authoritative scientific publication in the industry of Geodesy and Cartography of Russia and CIS countries. We publish scientific articles of scientists, graduate students and specialists of enterprises of different sectors in the field of geodesy, cartography, cadastre, navigation, remote sensing of the Earth from space, GIS technology, spatial data infrastructure, construction, architecture, road facilities and many others.

The Journal is included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific Journals and publications, determined in accordance with para. 11 of the order of awarding of academic degrees, approved by Government of the Russian Federation on January 30, 2002 № 74, which publishes the basic scientific results of dissertations for the degree Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Science.
