Abstract:

The paper is devoted to the centenary ofthe beginning of creation of the unitary coordi- nate reference frame (NCRF) of Russia whichpresently realizes the national coordinate ref- erence system SK-95. Nation-wide importance and various aspects of need in the classical NCRF are discussed. Poor state of efforts on maintenance and modernization of NCRF are noticed.
