Estimation of possibilities of northern vegetation status interpretation on Landsat images is made by interpretation of high resolution image from QuickBird satellite. It was discovered that northern boundary of reared birch dwarfshrab forests does not seen at Landsat images because dwarfshrab forests are not distinguish from lichen–dwarfshrab tundra. Analysis of image components inside area of Landsat pixel, created by QuickBird image, had shown that the cause of it is consist in common compensate influence of trees crowns and their shadows. The conclusion on necessity of shadows spectral investigations is made.
