Abstract:

Digital elevation models (DEM) – is important source of hydrologic and morphometric characteristics of drainage basins. There are presented the algorithm and the results of geoinformation processing of DEM by ArcGIS tools (ArcHydro). There are substantiated the advantages and the limits of automatic modeling of streams and drainage basins. There are used the tools of digital photogrammetric system (DPS) PHOTOMOD 4.4. for creating the correct DEM.
