Possibilities for detecting ecological problems zones of water areas using radar images were considered. It was shown: research concept; radar images and its interpretation characteristics; experiment results showing spatial and temporal distribution of biogenic slicks (exemplified by polygon modelling) as an indicator of water area ecological state. Multiparametric correlation graph displaying relationship between some important ecological factors was proposed.
