Abstract:
The history of creating the plans’ collection is investigated. Features of plans’ creation are highlighted and the role of military cartographers in making them is underlined in the paper. The attention is paid to the events shown on plans and to the manner of the objects’ image. Names of the commanders-in-chief leading the battles are specified.
