Abstract:
As a result of seismic and tectonic deformations of the earth's crust, the steadiness of such constructions as nuclear power plants (NPPs) could be seriously affected. When evaluating the geodynamic area of future nuclear power plants, in addition to seismological, geophysical, geomorphological, geological data it is required to use the surveying data. For this purpose, the first approximation is made using stock materials during the possibly shortest term. A series of articles on the matters of materials choice, making analysis and the role of surveying in designing and constructing safe important objects will be published. This is the first one, it contains information on the geodynamic evaluation of the Crimean nuclear power plant territory under construction. Here we start working out the methods of using geodetic stock materials.
