The system of levels for mapping objects and complexes of natural and cultural heritage in the aspect of territorial coverage, problem orientation and purpose is considered. The tasks solved on digital maps of the natural and cultural heritage at global, national, regional and local levels are formulated. The features of the electronic map of a natural and cultural heritage created in borders of a municipality «Horinsky area» of the Republic of Buryatiya are described, and prospects of their use are defined.
