The main (classical) static methods of determining the lateral refraction are analyzed. Since the atmosphere is a dynamically unstable medium, and when using the classical methods of determining its refraction, this property is ignored, the results of measuring the refractive error can be greatly distorted. For this reason it is proposed to use dynamic methods.
