Abstract:
A new approach in understanding of cartographic images from the standpoint of the semiotic-topologocal language of the map. It is shown that in the development of digital and electronic mapping is to clarify the boundaries and scope of application of such concepts and characteristics, as projection, scale, generalization, the system displayed.
