The paper illustrates the way to provide ecological mapping for regional level. The investigation concerns petroleum transportation system impact on environment. There is also a review of ecological small scale mapping practice in the article. The main issue is series of thematic maps. These maps show actual conditions of the selected region and result of impact assessment.
