Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the first cosmonaut in the world Yury Gagarin and the first man on a spacewalk Alexey Leonov. It covers the major events in their lives. Monuments established to honour the space explorers, scientists, engineers and spacecrafts used for exploration are enlisted. In addition the paper contains the map “Monuments of space exploration and development”.
