This article describes curriculum activity of Feodosiy Nikolayevich Krasovsky, foremost scientist and geodesist. It shows his research, production, scientific and pedagogical activities. Great attention is paid to his work in creating astronomogeodetic network of the State. Parameters of reference ellipsoid derived using astronomogeodetic and gravimetric data are given. The analysis of results obtained in different periods is presented (Krasovsky’s ellipsoid).
