Abstract:
The article demonstrates the potential application of airborne laser scanning (lidar) data in purposes of geographical cartography. The possibility of using airborne laser scanning to obtain information about relief of forested area was tested on case study area in the northern part of Western Sayan. Digital elevation model constructed and a series of map based on this model created.
