Abstract:
The article presents a way to create a structure and filling content of specific geodatabase required for meteorological situation forecast mapping of economic activity in line with certain factors that have an impact on its favorableness. One of the possible ways of solving this problem is to generate spatial gridded features of the forecast parameters of weather conditions in a geodatabase with the required lapse of time and a specific set of semantic information. The structure and content of the such geodatabase is specified by the main factors affecting main sectors of the economy, and parameters on the basis of which would be created maps of dangerous weather conditions. Parameter values are stored in the form of a semantic component of spatial features (attribute fields of a feature class) and include a complete list of the initial parameters defined at the stage of data selection from all parameters of weather conditions.
