A quality of satellite images of the Earth affects the methods and results of image processing. The low quality of satellite images of the Earth is a problem that has appeared together with satellite imaging. On processing of small-scale satellite images, most attention was paid to clouds and theirs shadows. Nowadays high-resolution detailed images are claiming, so the momentary clutter noise elimination (dead spaces, cars, people, etc.) became a top-priority problem. Improvement of visual properties of large-scale satellite images and aerial photographs is discussed. Some methods for artifacts or insignificant details removal by means of Adobe Photoshop are explained and illustrated by examples.
