Abstract:
The system of urban regulating specified in the RF Urban Building Code of 2004 is still in formation. Basing upon unifying several expert assessments the authors showed the key problems appearing at fulfilling the urban planning tasks at the local level. Possible causes of the problems are supposed, the ways of solving them by means of GIS-technologies are offered.
