The paper deals with the actual problem of the modern information society - the use of the basic spatial objects and organization of the bases for the basic spatial data for the solution of territorial problems in the sphere of economy, agriculture, transport, design and survey works, emergency management, etc. The paper shares the experience of creating of a cartographic basic spatial data bank to solve fundamental and applied territorial problems. It includes staff and technical equipment, which produce the necessary processing, transfer of spatially coordinated data within the system and replication of geo-information for the release to the user via the corporate network. The paper presents the technological structure of the databank, map service for the publication of materials, as well as a practical example of creation of the basic spatial data using an unmanned aircraft. The paper also shows the technique of creating a digital elevation model and a practical example of recording of the basic spatial objects layers in the Arc GIS software environment on the basis of aerial photographs from quadrocopters.
