Abstract:
The matters of deformations definition for hydraulic engineering structures and rocky blocks are considered within the limits of an arrangement of existing breaks, using a method of unilateral alignment. The problem is solved, in particular, by the alignment in one direction. The authors note that the method of alignment should be used when conditions of the object’s location do not enable using the classic version of the measure alignment when the reference marks are located on opposite banks of the river, and the checkpoints are on the objects. This work on a specific subject, confirmed the reliability of the results obtained from the path length up to 500 meters. It is marked that the traditional ways of structures’ deformations definition have not lost the urgency, as they are simple in jobs arrangement and characterized by high accuracy of measurements.
