Abstract:
The authors present the results of the dissertation research analysis on the issues of land monitoring and supervision (control), according to the following criteria: year of defense, scien- tific specialty, branch of science, place (institution) of implementation and protection, direction in the context of land categories. The following leading scientific and educational centers in the field of land monitoring were identified: MIIGAiK, SGUGiT, GUZ and Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov. In the structure of the dissertation research distribution by branches of science, 43% of them are technical, 23 % – geographic, 15 % – economic, 12 % – on legal sciences. The largest share of dissertation research is devoted to agricultural (29 %) and forest lands (18 %) and those of settlements (10 %). The materials obtained can be used to create a database of dissertation papers on the above mentioned topics, which will be useful for choosing the current direction of dissertation research and scientific specialty.
