Abstract:
A solution on standardization and automation of high-precision coordinate operations is proposed in the article. The goal of the development is to improve the efficiency of positioning in Russia. Centimeter-accurate positioning at observation epoch with global navigation satellites systems is well elaborated and automated. Typically, after accurate coordinates are determined by means of global navigation satellite systems, they have to be transformed into a static reference frame used in GIS. This procedure defined by Russian standards is incomplete and does not consider some necessary effects, including time-dependent ones. That may lead to decline in the accuracy by one or two orders as a result of transformation. A concept and a prototype of a free tool including a web service for high-precision implementation of coordinate operations are presented. The concept is formalized in a draft of standard for the operations. The prototype of the web service is available for testing at service.geocentric.xyz
The study was carried out within a research project "GEOTECH-Kvant-2" funded by Public Law Company "Roskadastr"
