Abstract:
The authors prove the need of perfecting the standard methods of arranging geodynamic monitoring in underground gas storage facilities. Using the example of such an object located in the Northwestern Federal District, we implemented a new approach, which involves studying the seismic activity of the feature`s location and identifying active zones, which are usually associated with tectonic faults, followed by creating local profile lines so that the reference points are located outside the dynamic influence zone of the split. As methods of conducting observations on local profile lines, for planned observations GNSS-monitoring or laying out of a polygonometric course is recommended, and for determining the vertical vector of displacement we offer leveling of the II class with tolerances characteristic of the I class. The developed and successfully implemented methodology for geodynamic tracking on local profile lines can also be applied on polygons of hydrocarbon fields. In the final part of this article, the directions of the geodynamic monitoring system further development at the said objects are determined
