Abstract:
The current state of the atlas mapping in Russia is analyzed; the greatest cartographical works of the recent years are assessed, such as «National Atlas of Russia», «Atlas of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra», «Political Atlas of the World», «Atlas of Moscow: Cartographical Encyclopedia», «Siberia: Atlas of Asiatic Russia», «Atlas of the Kuril Islands», and «Atlas of the Social and Economic Development of Russia».
