The article summarizes the results of research and structuring the information space in the conservation of biodiversity. Showing methodological approaches to the possible identification and ranking of priorities for the protection of rare and endangered species on federal and regional level. Revealed the situation mismatch lists of species in the regional Red Books with the Red Book of Russia (in some species listed in the Red Book of Russia).
