On the basis of memoirs of the author on personal meetings from P. R. Popovich aspects of activity of Cosmonaut USSR № 4 P. R. Popovich, connected with land management and land monitoring are characterized, motives of its actions on preservation of land tenure service of the country are shown and the contribution to formation and development of land monitoring of Moscow is reflected.
