Abstract:
The 3-dimensional geological map is defined as an informational model which describes the geological volumes that fill the whole space without gaps or intersections. Program tool for a creation and exploitation of the model is the integrated expansion of a 2-dimension GIS and a 3d-visualization. The logical structure of the model, technology of 3d-map editing, and possible applications are considered.
