The foundation of time and space measures are been obtained on the base of the measurements by means of the methods of astrometry and geodesy. Therefore for successful development of astronomy, celestial mechanics, geodesy and the sciences depending on them, it is necessary to overcome the process of differentiation of science and disregard of the history of scientific ideas and their connection to modern problems.
