The results of the cultivated Tunka basin areas under study for the period from 1900 to 2010 are presented. The analysis was carried out using multi-temporal topographic maps, remote sensing and digital elevation modeling. The maps, representing the main morphometric characteristics of the area topography under study (altitude, steepness and exposure of the slopes) are created. The territory is differentiated according to the suitability of the slopes for the economic activity based on the maps created.
