Abstract:
Facts of building deformations and karst dips appearance in Ufa city have been analyzed (The Southern Fore–Urals) in the paper. They were compared with the structural-geological features of the city territory. The studies have been shown that in generally the territory of the city is downlifting with the rate of 1–5 mm per year in accordance with the increased pressure of the engineering constructions. Karst processes, faults and block movements could be responsible for the buildings deformations. Surface waters and waters flowing from the underground utilities are responsible for the karst processes acceleration and weakened zones appearance under constructions. As a result engineering constructions are downlifting and destroying. The proposals for the prevention of the negative dynamic processes influence are listed.
