Abstract:

The results of analyzing cartographic projections’ properties, ellipsoids and coordinate systems used by the US military forces and their allies are considered, they are used for the purpose of developing the criteria of choosing the required GIS Military Purpose-projections in order to solve the tasks assumed by their purpose.
