Matters of using high- and ultra-high resolution materials of space photography at mapping vast areas are considered. The main characteristics of RSE space crafts “Resurs-P” and “Kanopus-V” being prepared for launching are indicated. Opportunities of using space photos made by foreign orbit space crafts for the purpose of creating innovational geo-space data were analyzed. Hereby no ground base points are employed, only the orbital parameters presented by RPC-polynomic models are used. Suggestions on developing the national orbital space-craft group and ground-based complexes of RSE are made in order to solve the tasks of systematical mapping Russian regions and provision of users with geospace information successfully.
