In order to assess the geodynamic activity of the territory, where construction of objects large and complicated for exploitation is projected, the information on movements of the earth's crust shall be used. It is obtained by repeated high-precision geodetic measurements and the tectonic area analysis. In this paper the results of geodetic repeated measurements in the Middle Volga are taken from an integrated database. They are the materials of repeated I and II class levelling, which help obtaining information on the modern vertical movements of the Earth crust (MVMEC) in the mentioned area. The graphs of speed and MVMEC gradients in the area are given in the distance of 300 – 500 km round the object. They are juxtaposed with the tectonic structure of the area where the levelling lines pass.
