Abstract:
The article is devoted to teaching surveying basics in secondary schools in the West Siberian school district during the First World War, under the Ministry of Education. The school district consisted of Tobolsk and Tomsk province, Akmola and Semipalatinsk regions up to 1917. High schools (gymnasia) and vocational (real) schools could be classified as secondary institutions.
