Abstract:
Modern hydrographic activity is associated with implementing new technologies and implies emerging of the new terminology. The existing Russian documents for hydrographic terminology do not cover the new terms. This can lead to misunderstanding and prevents the proper usage of modern hydrographic techniques. Some of new terms are discussed and defined.
