Abstract:
The results of analyzing the current state of topographic and geodetic provision in the Russian Federation are given. The main directions of development under growing needs of Central and municipal management, economy, military forces and special services in updated, reliable and precise geospatial data are defined. The main priority strategic directions for topographic, geodetic and cartographic provision are indicated. The perfection and development of state management, legislation, science-and-technical regulating, control and permissive structures of the state management, scientific and technical support and international activities are mentioned herewith.
