Abstract:
The ecological structure of the mining industry of the Baikal region is considered and the situation of specially protected natural areas of federal importance is determined there: reserves, national parks and reserves. The study was carried out at the level of the subjects of the Russian Federation and municipal districts, ecological zones of the Baikal natural territory. The method of developing deposits of minerals, the type of extracted raw materials is considered. As environmental assessment indicators, the areas of land disturbed by the development of specific locations, the level of raw material toxicity, the density and structure of disturbed lands in the municipal districts were adopted. We have prepared two articles on this subject. In the present work, research materials are reflected on the conjugated maps revealing the position of specially protected natural areas in the ecological structure of the mining industry in the region. In the next second article, based on these materials, a cartographic assessment of the impact of the mining industry on facilities with a special nature management regime will be given.
