Abstract:
The article deals with the issues of standardization in the field of geodesy and cartography at the present stage. The matters of planning and developing draft national standards in the Russian Federation were highlighted. Information is provided on the process of development and approval of the annual National Standardization Program. The activities of technical committees for standardization in the field of geodesy, cartography and spatial data are described. The analysis of development and approval of national standards in the mentioned field in the Russian Federation over the recent 7 years was provided. The issues of information support of the national standardization system were highlighted. Examples of draft national standards development were presented. Proposals to increase the annual number of draft national standards for geodesy, cartography and spatial data were presented.
