Abstract:
The geographical location of the Saratov oblast enables detailed studying the factors influencing the condition of forest plantations. The territory stretches from northwest to southeast in forest-steppe, steppe and semi-desert zones. Average annual precipitation there ranges from 450 mm per year in the northwestern regions to 250 mm in the southeast. On the right bank of the Volga, the most common soils are: southern chernozems, typical chernozems, leached chernozems, gray forest and gray xeroforest. On the left one, chestnut, dark chestnut, dark chestnut carbonate and chestnut typical carbonate are predominant. The author assessed the impact of soil-and-climatic factors on preserving forest resources in this constitutional entity using geoinformation technologies. Statistical analysis of the soil-climatic factors influence and the construction of correlations showed a direct dependence on the safety of those SPFB areas in the mentioned territory, where the pyrogenic factor was not reported. With an increase in the average long-term annual precipitation according to the constructed model, compiled due to the natural exponential, the correlation with the preservation of the stands is 0,9, the standard deviation is 4,65. The correlation between the influence of temperatures in a similar period on the SPFB of the landfill areas with the deduction of fires, according to a model compiled on the basis of the natural exponential, is –0,77, the standard deviation is 4,84
